Old Salcombians - Where are you now?
We are eager to discover where our Old Salcombians are now, what career paths they have followed and their significant achievements. We need their help to rediscover the Salcombe Preparatory School history especially as we are nearing our 100th anniversary in 2016.
1. Old Salcombian's Association
Join our Old Salcombian's Association:
- receive access to our Old Salcombian online bulletin board;
- renew acquaintances at our annual Old Salcombian's function;
- be invited to major school events; and
- receive the regular Salcombian Magazine, including articles on our past pupils as these come to hand.
2. Old Salcombian's Association Executive
Become an Executive member
- meet informally with the Head two or three times per year;
- assist the Head to organise and host the annual Old Salcombian's Event.
3. Salcombe History and Careers Speakers Database
Offer to be our on our careers database to speak to young children about:
- your time at Salcombe School;
- your career and achievements.
4. Salcombe Artefacts
Can you bring alive a wealth of Salcombe history? Have you old Salcombe artefacts such as old uniform items, old badges, old text or exercise books, school reports, photos and the like?
5. Donations and bequests are eagerly sought to support the school's development plan
Financial support can be given through :
- Cash gifts and pledges;
- Endowments;
- Bequests under your will;
- Gifts or services in kind; and
- Sponsorship
We are happy to explain how any of these gifts can be made to work for you or to discuss confidentially an arrangement that would suit your particular circumstances. Every donation given to support our school, whether monetary or in kind, is confidential unless otherwise required, valued and gratefully received.
