Co-educational learning at Salcombe is tried, true and successful. Co-education is a natural, normal and healthy learning environment and, as Salcombe girls and boys work and learn together, as they will in their adult lives, they are provided with a great advantage in their preparation for the future.

Our learning programmes encourage children to learn in and through mixed gender experiences. Our teachers are alert to gender issues in their teaching styles and programmes. Our child achievements in all parts of the school's programme are testament to the success of this philosophy.

We know that co-education at Salcombe works because our children have:
