Partners with Parents

At Salcombe we encourage close, co-operative relationships with parents to ensure that our children feel motivated to fulfil their potential. Parents are kept informed of what’s happening through a weekly newsletter from the Head Teacher, as well as from the school’s notice boards.

Parents’ Association

There is a flourishing Parents’ Association connected with the school and all parents automatically become members when their child joins the school. The association runs social events such as Fetes, social evenings, used uniform sales and discos for children. Parents having a specific query or dissatisfaction about school policy or practice should approach the Headmaster, as the Parents’ Association is neither responsible for the running of the school nor empowered to represent individual parents. It is hoped that all parents will support the association’s activities.
