We would highly recommend AFC Southgate to any parents who are looking for a local youth football club for their children. Many Salcombe students already play for AFC Southgate.The club run regular Saturday Morning Academy Coaching Sessions for Children of all abilities and ages from 10am-11.30am at Broomfield Park, Powys Lane, N13 4HR. AFC Southgate also run a number of teams in the Cheshunt Youth Football League.

Salcombe Girls Win and Draw at Norfolk House

Congratulations to the girls U9 and U11 netball teams for two stellar performances at Norfolk House.

The U9 girls came away with a 2-0 victory against Norfolk House in what was a solid effort by all involved. Téa Chan was excellent at GK making several key interceptions. Special mention should also go out to Zamira Towndrow for scoring the two vital points needed for the win.

The U11 girls also played and their match finished in an 8-8 draw. It was an excellent all-round team effort with some very strong performances by Salcombe's three shooters: Estella, Naomi and Natalie.
