Key Stage 2 Art Specialist – Maternity Cover

Salcombe Preparatory School is a well-established thriving Preschool and Preparatory School for children from 3 to 11 years. The school was inspected in May 2016 and was rated outstanding in all areas. Classes are small and the school maintains high academic standards.

We are looking for a hard working, ambitious and dynamic Key Stage 2 teacher to join our enthusiastic team at this forward-looking, unique school. The school has its own art studio and kiln.

This position offers the chance to teach Art to children in Years 3-6. You will be an outstanding classroom practitioner who can inspire and challenge our pupils with a proven track record of success in raising standards and in innovative teaching. The successful candidate will also be able to demonstrate the highest standards of pastoral care and be able to extend our children beyond the national curriculum.

We are seeking to appoint an energetic and enthusiastic person with a level 3 qualification in childcare to supervise our pupils alongside colleagues at our after school club at Pre-Prep or Prep sites.
