Hendon Prep is a small independent Day School and Preschool in north London for girls and boys from 3 -11 years old.

We are an inclusive, friendly, family-feel school which nurtures excellence in a diverse culture. We promote and celebrate wellbeing alongside academic attainment.

Meet our Headteacher, Mrs Tushi Gorasia

Mrs. Tushi Gorasia has been Headteacher at Hendon Prep since 2019, guiding a shared vision with an amazing team of teachers so that every child feels happy, safe and included in their learning journey.

EXCELLENT IN ALL AREAS | ISI FOCUSED COMPLIANCE AND EDUCATIONAL QUALITY INSPECTION REPORT 2023

We are delighted to announce that following our ISI Inspection in January we have achieved ‘excellent in all areas’.

A double “excellent” is the highest possible outcome for a school during an Educational Quality Inspection.

The ISA comprises around 600 schools and it is so wonderful to be recognised for all of the work that our staff team and students have done to promote and embrace excellence in EDI.

FACILITIES & LOCATION

Situated in the leafy north London suburb of Hendon

The school provides a fantastic range of facilities to enhance pupils’ learning and experience. We have bright and well-resourced classrooms, complete with an ICT suite, dedicated Art and Design studio, music room, library and a fully equipped science laboratory.

A large playground and outside classroom give pupils much needed space for play and outdoor learning. With a planting area, amphitheatre, Astroturf football and netball pitch and giant chess board, playtimes are full of fun at Hendon Prep.

Besides using the wonderful playground for sports and PE lessons, the school also makes use of fabulous local facilities such as Poolside Manor Swimming Pool and Power League.
